the BOM table takes mold products as the unit, namely, mold products recorded in the same BOM table are of the same serial No, and are distinguished by material No, in other words, in mold enterprise the product No.+ material No. is the sole mark for determining a mold part. In addition, the specification, dimension and stuff of the materials or rough part should be recorded. The stuff used for mold production are relatively stable, wherein those related with different national standards fall into over 30 types, such as S136, GS738, ASSAB718 and NAK-80 etc. when imputing the material information, the designer needs to decide the origin of the current materials, which is called the scheduled state.
BOM is bill of material. Normal it is created by excel, there is information including:

The BOM is a list provided by the mold designer to the purchasing staff. This list determines the cost and quality of the mold, and also indicates the mold designer’s plan for the mold.
