Every people who works in manufacturing industry must know manufacturing cycle meaning– Eliminating secondary operation further reduces costs. For example, if we want to make a product with all kinds of colors, painting operations are required, but Plastic material can be colored with color concentrates before molding, then we can eliminate secondary painting operations, In terms of appearance, Injection molds can be textured or given various levels of polished surfaces before molding.
Assembly is a common process in production, injection molded parts are better than metal stampings and castings, If multiple assemblies are required, they just simply need have snap-together features, so they can quicken delivery in new product development programs.
Of course, plastic parts can reduce product weight, significantly reduces shipping costs and improves the end-user’s physical ease, that is another advantage.
