A typical Pro/ENGINEER software package is made up of different modules, customizable to the customer’s specific needs. Pro/ENGINEER is available in a pre-packaged set of scalable packages which include a broad range of 3D CAD, CAID, CAE, data management and other design related capabilities.
The base offering is the Pro/ENGINEER Foundation Extended Edition (XE) package which includes 3D solid modeling, 2D/3D drawings, surfacing, assembly, sheet metal, data interoperability, mechanism design, and other capabilities. Other advanced capabilities can also be purchased in separate modules ala carte.

Pro/E is a very excellent engineering software, especially for product design
